For our many patrons who have already taken the time in sharing their fishing adventures, Thank You very much! Capt. Berry, Thanks so much for taking me and my brother out on Lake Douglas. We had a great time catching smallmouth, largemouth, Stripers and Walleye. Having a captain that is a blast on the boat made the day that much more fun! I will recommend you to all of my friends and family or to anyone I meet in my travels. Sincerely, Steve “Boogie” Brown Hey Captain Dave, You were right--Noah did a great job for us. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and just plain fun to be with. Our whole group certainly enjoyed him. If he hasn't told you yet, have him tell you about how he fished one of my partners out of the river and possibly saved his life. If you ever need a reference, feel free to give someone my name and email address. Had a wonderfull time. Only suggestion would be to include a inexpensive shore lunch. All my best to the folks who live in Gods Country. Ken Nurkiewicz My 10 year old son’s still talking, ”Smack!!” about our latest guided trip with Capt. David Berry!! What,” Bass-Fishing” Dad wants to out fish his oldest son? Well…it didn’t matter if I did or not on 5/20/2010. Capt. Berry showed Jason and me the finer points of Carolina Rigging with brush hogs, and plastic worms. 5 min. later, Jason Anakin proceeds to put on a, ”Clinic” He landed Smallies in the 2.5 lb range, as well as Largemouth in the same range all day long!! He thought he was going to sit and take a break after a few Smallies showed him how strong they are, but I got him back out there! Seemed like wherever Capt. Berry put us…Jason found the fish!! I caught a nice limit of Largemouth myself, and I lost what looked like a nice 4 lb hog…but Jason stole the show!! What made my catches satisfying was that most of them were on a football head jig. I’ve landed several fish with a jig the last 2 years. It’s been my absolute,” Least” favorite lure of all times. I made myself comfortable with it, by fishing it, and Capt. Berry assisted by giving me the layout of some of the features of the lake. (Drop-offs, ledges, rock vs sandy gravel, limbs, brushpiles, etc….) Thank you for everything Capt. Berry!!!!! John R. Futrell Dear Smokies Angling Adventures, Our family decided to take a small vacation during spring break and come to your part of the world. My cousin and I own and operate a hunting lodge ourselves and so we wanted to fish for something we didn't have back in Texas, so we opted for trout fishing. We found your guide service on the internet and booked our reservation. Noah Ricker was our guide. He was great. We caught a good stringer of trout that day and everyone had fun. Take it from someone who does this for a living, Smokies Angling Service is the way to go. You know you had a good time when you still talk about it a month later and want to go back! Thanks Noah for a great memory. Michael Moody Dave, Just wanted to thank you for the Crappie fishing trips. Eventhough the family didn`t catch much, everyone had a good time. If nothing else picking on Ryan! I was so grateful when he caught a few Bass the next day! Picture enclosed. Hope to see you this fall! To whom it may concern, To make a long story short we had a great time and my kids wanted to go back the next day after we finished in Dollywood. Sincerely, I just wanted to express my appreciation to you and your fellow guide for a wonderful fishing trip. From my first call to the end of the trips. You handled everything professionally & courteously. Both days on the lake were fantatsic. You handled all the details, so all I had to do was fish and enjoy myself. Great time! June 15, 2009

My Nephew and I enjoyed your guides caring and professional attitude. He took pictures that you may have by now and if possiple, please send the pictures via my E-mail address. I was the one who went fishing on the same day a turnament was in progress at Douglas Lake. We opted to fish on Cherokee lake. We stay at a cabin on Douglas lake. My Nephew who is 12, was really excited and having a time of it. Mission accomplished. John E. Reynolds David...thanks for the note. All I heard was very positive feedback regarding the fishing. The guides were great, scenery spectacular, and everyone had a wonderful time. Thanks so much for your help in making this a trip to remember for the LinguiSystems group! Mary Zack My family and I try to vacation in Gatlinburg,TN, as often as we can. After the first few vacations, I realized that it would be best to hire a guide to put me on some fish. While at home in Richmond,Va, I began to look into bass fishing guides in the Gatlinburg area. Mr. Berry`s name popped up. His website wasn`t,”Over the Top”, and all of his credentials were right there for me to see. I called a few others, but I got the idea that all my questions were annoying them. Mr. Berry and I talked, and discussed rates, the local lakes, and a few other concerns since I`d never fished with a guide before. The day finally came, and I met Mr. Berry at the local marina. After exchanging a few pleasantries, we were burning across Douglass Lake in search of some Largemouth Bass. We hit several spots that afternoon. We were primarily fishing,” Texas Rigged” soft plastic worms. After about 15 min. of fishing some ledges, we found some nice Largemouth Bass in the 1.5 to 2 lb range. We continued to catch Largemouth in the 1.5 to 2lb range for the rest of the afternoon, into the night. Mr. Berry`s knowledge of bass fishing, as well as Douglass Lake, was evident as soon as we began casting. He pointed out key areas of the lake which helped us finish off the trip with a nice limit of Largemouth Bass. Mr. Berry’s rig was stocked with everything a bass angler needs to wrestle with Tennessee’s most punishing Largemouth Bass. All you`ll need is the will and want to catch some of finest fish that Tennessee has to offer. And of course, you’ll need to book a trip with Mr. Berry at Smokies Angling Adventures.
